Monte Rei
Jack Nicklaus laid the North Course into a quiet valley in the eastern Algarve and then had the sense to leave most of it alone. We take twelve golfers, a private villa a quarter of an hour away, and four days with no fixtures beyond the ones you want.

Faro collection, villa check in, then nine relaxed holes and a short game session on the practice ground while the light goes. Dinner on the terrace.
Eighteen holes on the North with buggies and caddies arranged. Damian plays with a different pairing every few holes, so everybody gets time with him. Lunch at the clubhouse afterwards.
An hour of individual coaching with video, then a team format in the afternoon with a trophy that people take far more seriously than they expect to.
A round at a neighbouring championship course, then a private chef at the villa for the last evening. Wine chosen locally rather than by the hotel.
Optional early nine for anybody who wants them, late checkout, and transfers timed around your flights rather than ours.

Why Taylored
Four days of golf is easy to book.
Getting it right is not.
Most golf trips are a tee sheet and a hotel. This is closer to being taken somewhere by a friend who happens to know the courses, the greenkeepers and the best table in town.

Coaching, only if you want it
Some people come to work on their game. Some come to play golf and eat well. Both are entirely acceptable, and neither costs extra.
Arranged before you land
Transfers, tee times, caddies, dinner reservations, buggies with your name on them. You bring your clubs and a decent pair of shoes.
Meet the founder
Damian Taylor
Damian is a PGA Professional who has spent his career teaching golfers of every standard, from people who took the game up in their fifties to county players trying to find another half a shot.
Taylored Golf Experiences grew out of that. Clients kept asking him where they should play and who they should go with, and eventually it made more sense to take them himself. It is a separate business to his coaching practice at Damian Taylor Golf, with its own trips, its own standards and its own small group of regulars.
